WhatsApp collections with M-Pesa settlement

An agribusiness collecting payments from several hundred smallholder farmers. We built a WhatsApp flow on the Xuremi Pay rails — pay over M-Pesa, get an instant receipt, and reconciliation that runs itself.
Greenfield buys produce from several hundred smallholder farmers and pays them over M-Pesa, but the payments ran on spreadsheets and phone calls. Farmers were paying by SMS or cash and chasing receipts, and the finance team spent a day a week reconciling.
We built a WhatsApp flow on the Xuremi Pay rails. A farmer sends a message and gets a payment prompt, pays over M-Pesa, and receives an instant receipt. The same channel carries reminders when a payment is due, and every transaction lands in the ledger the moment it settles.
Reconciliation now runs automatically at the end of each day, and the finance team works from one set of numbers rather than matching three. The flows use the same WhatsApp accounts the business already talks to farmers on.
